Another round of fixtures is coming your way as our league hockey continues!
The derby match of the day must be in division one as Western 3rd XI take on Western 4th XI. The two sides meet in league hockey for the first time since 2017 and it’s sure to be a competitive match. Rottenrow are the inform team right now, as they look to win a fourth in a row. They sit second in the league and are travelling to Uddingston, to take on Uddingston 3rd XI – a game they will feel they should take all three points. The league leaders, Clydesdale 3rd XI, will be hoping for similar as they are up against Kelburne 3rd XI. The division two champions have been no pushovers this season and will be looking for a third win in a row as they host Clydesdale. Elsewhere, Hillhead 4th XI welcome Giffnock and Helensburgh host Hillhead 3rd XI.
Ayr remain unbeaten in division two and they sit top of the division. They are travelling to take on Greenock 2nd XI,
recently promoted from division three. Ayr will fancy all three points here as well, as Greenock have struggled to find form yet this season and are without a win. Also unbeaten so far is Clydesdale 4th XI. They are hosting Glasgow University 3rd XI, a team that will fancy its chances at promotion this season, so this match is sure to be an exciting match up. Dumfries have lacked decent form so far this season with two wins, two losses and a draw. They will be hoping to put that behind them and continue the winning streak as they travel to Uddingston 4th XI. The other match see’s winless Hillhead 5A hope for their first points of the season as they host Rottenrow 2nd XI.

The top two sides in division three come head-to-head on Saturday as Kelburne 4th XI host Anchor. Anchor have yet to lose this season but sit just a point behind rivals Kelburne in what should be a tasty match. Helensburgh 2nd XI will be hoping to put last week’s demolition behind them as they host Hillhead 6th XI, who got their first win of the season last week. It could be a close game at Hermitage Academy. The other match of the division see’s Strathclyde University 2nd XI host Western 5th XI. The students will be hoping for a positive result, as they look for promotion this season.
In division four, Dumfries 3rd XI have the long trip up to Helensburgh, as they take on Helensburgh 3rd XI. Helensburgh have only lost once this season and will be hoping home advantage gives them the edge against a young Dumfries side. Clydesdale 5th XI are back in action and remain on maximum points so far this season. They have the trip down to Dumfries 2nd XI to contend with, but after heading down earlier in the season and defeating Dumfries 3rd XI, they will fancy their chances. The final match has Hillhead 7th XI hosting Giffnock 2nd XI.
