A seriously good performance against some very high quality teams. But do you have any idea how many squad members started their hockey in the West District or have played for West District sides? Amazingly out of 20 players 10 of them fall into that category. Tommy Austin, Jed Campbell, Ali Douglas, Jamie Golden, Andrew Mcallister, Andrew McConnell, Iain McFadden, David Nairn, Alasdair Richmond and Struan Walker all have West connections.
