It was business as usual across the district as all teams top of their respective division won three points.

In division one, Western 3rd XI have recently taken up top spot and they kept it with a one sided 11-1 win over relegation threatened Uddingston 3rd XI. Clydesdale 3rd XI do have a game in hand over Western, and kept the pressure on with a win over Rottenrow. Colin Moulson got a double for the ‘dale, helping them to a 4-2 win. It was an exciting match at the High School of Glasgow, as Hillhead 4th XI raced to 3-0 first half win. Helensburgh made it exciting, however, scoring two in the second half but couldn’t get the important third, with Hillhead taking all three points. Elsewhere, there were wins for Hillhead 3rd XI and Kelburne 3rd XI.

GHK remain top of division two, extending their unbeaten run to ten games now. They had a comfortable 3-1 win away to Uddingston 4th XI. Glasgow University 3rd XI had a double header this weekend but failed to take the chance to go top after defeat to Hillhead 5B on Friday night. They did recover with a 3-1 win over Rottenrow 2nd XI on Saturday, however. Clydesdale 4th XI are also keeping promotion hopes alive with another victory, as they defeated Hillhead 5A 4-2. The other match saw Ayr overcome Dumfries 4-1.

The only match in division three on Saturday saw Kelburne 4th XI overcome Uddingston 5th XI 7-0, leaving the gap between them and second placed Anchor at seven points. Anchor did get three points after Helensburgh 2nd XI failed to field a team.

Clydesdale 5th XI had the biggest win of the weekend, thrashing Dumfries 3rd XI 12-1, and adding another win to their season, which has yet to drop a point. Giffnock had an impressive 5-0 win over Helensburgh 3rd XI and the derby match produced an upset, with Hillhead 8th XI ahead on the league standings, but Hillhead 7th XI coming away with a 3-0 win.
