So the next few days sees two WDUA members head off to Europe to officiate at EuroHockey tournaments in Valencia and Vienna.First we have Grace Mulholland who heads off to Valencia, Spain for the Mens and Womens EuroHockey Under 21 Championship where she will act as a Technical Officer. The national teams competing in the Mens event are Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland with the Ladies tournament comprising of Belgium, England, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain and Wales. Some big teams in what should be highly competative tournaments.
We also have one of our Honorary Westies, Kristie Burnett, heading out to Austria to umpire at the EuroHockey Under 21 Championship 11B Women which runs from 27th July to 1st August in Vienna. The teams competing are Austria, Czechia, Poland, Switzerland and Turkiye.
