What a romantic weekend we have in store for you this Valentines Weekend!
Division one only has the one game on display, with a repeat of last week’s match between Western 3rd XI and Rottenrow. Western won last week comfortably but Rottenrow will be out for revenge this week. The two sides sit second and third respectively and three points could be massive for both sides come the end of the season.

Division two has no games this weekend but division three and four are busy. Helensburgh 2nd XI have hit a bit of form in the league just now and will be looking to continue their run as they travel to Hillhead 6th XI. With Helensburgh sitting in third, they could be showing up for a late promotion push in the league. Similarly, Strathclyde University 2nd XI will want to keep their promotion hopes alive with a win away at Western. However, it won’t be a foregone conclusion for the students, with Western 5th XI putting on some good displays of late. The final match in the division is another crucial one for the promotion candidates. Anchor will be keen to get back to winning ways but have the tough ask of league leaders Kelburne 4th XI. Kelburne haven’t played since November, so will be hoping the winter cobwebs don’t slow their game down.

In division four, Clydesdale 5th XI are back in action with a home tie against Dumfries 2nd XI. They already look comfortable at the top of the table, but Dumfries are no pushovers and will travel to Glasgow with a full squad. The other match in the bottom division sees Giffnock 2nd XI host Hillhead 8th XI. Hillhead won the earlier tie between the two, but Giffnock go into this match in good form.
