The games keep coming thick and fast, as we approach the end of November.

The big match in division one was at the bottom of the table, as Clydesdale 4th XI saw off the challenge of Hillhead 5th XI. Clydesdale took an early lead, and were 2-0 up at half time, but Hillhead fought back. It wasn’t enough though, as the game finished 3-2. The three points move Clydesdale above their opponents and out of the relegation zone. Rottenrow extended their unbeaten run to five with a 7-2 win over Helensburgh. A David Muir hat-trick helped them seal all three points. The league leaders, Western 3rd XI, continued their dominating start to the season with a 6-0 away win at Giffnock. Elsewhere, there was wins for Clydesdale 3rd XI and Hillhead 4th XI.

It was a big win for GHK in division two, as they overcame Rottenrow 2nd XI, who had yet to lose this season. A Gary Mitchell double was enough to defeat Rottenrow. There was a big win at the bottom of the table, as Western 4th XI defeated Kelburne 4th XI 12-1. A game of two halves, with the score only 2-1 at half time, but Western dominated the second half to give themselves three important points. Uddingston 3rd XI moved clear at the top of the table, thanks to GHK’s win. They defeated Strathclyde University 2nd XI in a one sided match, in which Hunter Borland and Jack Stewart both got hat-tricks. The other match saw Dumfries win away at Ayr.

Rottenrow 3rd XI moved back to the top of the division three table with a win over Uddingston 5th XI yesterday. They took a 2-0 lead in at half time, but had to weather a Uddingston storm in the second half. They held on to win 4-2 however, to win all three points. Helensburgh 2nd XI had an impressive 3-1 win away from home against Hillhead 7th XI. Thomas Harris got two to earn Helensburgh there second win in a row. The other match saw Hillhead 8th XI defeat Giffnock 2nd XI.
