Last night saw Andrew Cox of Glasgow University, one of our most proactive clubs on the umpire development front pass his level 1 practical and add himself not only to the WDUA officials family but to the amazing pool of umpires we have helped build with the University over the past five years, and hopeful in the future to the amazing list of umpires from West that turn out as regular volunteers for Scottish Hockey. So well done Andrew and thank you for joining our group.
We have another person to thank for the success of this assessment and that was the person making her debut as a solo assessor, Emma Reid, well done Emma, and we look forward to many more assessments from you.
Thanks to everyone for coming together on the night to make this a successful assessment and well done to Andrew and Emma on their achievements.
