Great to see West District represented on the World Stage again with Martin Monaghan travelling to Porec in Croatia to act as a Technical Official at the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup from 3rd to 9th February.
Featuring both male and female teams this major event in world hockey requires an amazing display of organisation with both male and female events running side by side in the same city and venue.
The men’s teams performing are Argentina, Australia. Austria. Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Iran, Malaysia, Namibia, Poland, South Africa alongside Trinidad and Tobago.
The women’s teams who have travelled to Porec in Croatia are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Namibia, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Thailand, and USA.
