Western Hockey Club will be running their 3rd annual Open Day on Saturday 26th August at Auchenhowie. This year the Mens and Ladies 1s will have preseason friendlies against Watsonians Hockey Club so an ideal opportunity to see both of Scotland’s champion clubs at Auchenhowie on the same day. Everyone within our West District family is welcome and can bring their friends and families too.
There will be a come and try session from 11am to 12.15pm and the Ladies will play Watsonians Ladies with a 12.30 pm pushback and the Men will play Watsonians with a 2.30pm pushback.
VSN will be hosting a pop-up kit shop and there will also be a second hand stall if you’d like to grab a bargain. Western will provide a cake stall, refreshments stand and BBQ to keep everyone fueled for a big day of playing and spectating. Kids can be entertained with face painting and a bouncy castle?
The hockey is free. Cash and card options are available for food/drink/raffle.
