This weekend sees Western travel to Barcelona to the home of Real Club de Polo de Barcelona to compete in the EHL round of 16 where they will face the Czech champions TJ Plzen-Litice on Saturday at 1.15 gmt before hopefully earning a round of 8 place on Sunday against either the winners of the Dutch Hoofdklasse regular season SV Kampong or winners of the last three EHL titles HC Bloemendal.
The players selected to travel to the Basque Country for this formidable test are Gavin Sommerville, Luc Hermsen, Calum Duke, Fabian Goldie, Jonny Christie, Jack McKenzie, Rob Harwood, Fraser Calder, Nikki Homfray, Fraser Moran, Andrew McAllister, Cameron Moran, Adam Mackenzie, Iain McFadden, Euan Cowan, Craig Wallace, Rohan Marwaha and Cameron Weir along with coaches Stephen Percy and David Bond.
