With four weeks to go, it’s getting close to crunch time as all points matter at this stage. Let’s look at the fixtures.

Two teams at the top of division one play each other as Clydesdale 3rd XI host Western 3rd XI. Western have the far better stats going into the game, having yet to lose this season but Clydesdale are no pushovers. Clydesdale haven’t lost at home this season so it could be a tight game. Rottenrow currently hold top sport and make the long trip down to Dumfries to take on the struggling Dumfries side. However, results are never a foregone conclusion and Rottenrow will need to be at their best to beat a resilient Dumfries side. Hillhead 3rd XI, the other side near the top of the table, welcome Helensburgh to Lower Windyedge. Hillhead will fancy their chances, however, as they have only lost once this season. Elsewhere, Giffnock travel to Uddingston 3rd XI and Hillhead 4th XI take on GHK.

The top three all play in division two tomorrow, with all three sides in excellent form. Top of the pile Kelburne 3rd XI travel to Hillhead 5th XI, having not lost in seven league games. Western 4th XI are hot on the tails of Kelburne. They take on Glasgow University 3rd XI at Auchenhowie and will hoping for the three points. Ayr host Uddingston 4th XI. The home side are unbeaten in six, but with a couple of draws in the last two games, Uddingston will fancy their chances. The other game see’s Helensburgh 2nd XI welcome Clydesdale 4th XI to Hermitage Academy.

Division three has several rearranged games to catch up on before the split. Ayr 2nd XI had a mid-week victory over Anchor to move them level on points with Uddingston 5th XI. Uddingston play tomorrow though with a tough home tie against Greenock 2nd XI. Hillhead 6th XI have already secured a top four spot, but Kelburne 4th XI aren’t guaranteed yet. The two sides meet tomorrow at Balgray.

In division four, all six teams are in action. Top of the table Clydesdale 5th XI travel to Eastwood High School to play Giffnock 2nd XI. They’ll be hoping Finlay Dunlop has his shooting stick with him after scoring three in three. Helensburgh 3rd XI host Hillhead 7th XI, whilst Western 5th XI travel to Dumfries 2nd XI.
