Anchor are one of the districts oldest clubs and will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, as the experienced side will be surely going for promotion this year. They finished fourth last year, having dropped from division two the previous year and will be hoping to push on this year to get back to the top. Helensburgh 2nd XI are back in division three, after a season in division two. The young side struggled last season at the higher level and will be hoping the experience from that will help them steady the ship for the season ahead. Hillhead 6th XI technically won last season’s division three, but most of that team will have moved on to division two with Hillhead 5s. So, the Hillhead side remain in division three, hoping to produce a similar result as last season.

Kelburne 4th XI are another youthful side looking to see how far they can go this season. Mixed with experienced heads, the 4th team finished in third last year and could be one to watch this season. However, it is never quite as simple as that, with the Uni finishing in fifth last year, they will be aiming higher this year. Uddingston 5th XI are full of experience, as the older generation show the youngsters of the division how to really play hockey. The final side in the division is Western 5th XI, who have come up from Division four. However, that won’t falter them as the young side is full of talent.
