January sees two of our top technical officials from West District Hockey head to warmer climates to officiate at Olympic Qualifying events in Valencia and Oman.
Barbara Morgan travels to Valencia to officiate in that qualifying event which runs from 13th to 21st January. The event will feature men’s teams from Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Spain, and Ukraine, alongside women’s teams from Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Spain and Ukraine.
Martin Monaghan travels to Oman to officiate in a men’s qualifying event which runs from the 15th to the 21st of January. This event will feature Canada, Chile, China, Germany, Great Britain, Malaysia, New Zealand and Pakistan.
It’s amazing to see West District and West District Umpires Association being so well represented at such prestigious tournaments and we wish Barbara and Martin well at their respective events.
